Irma Bourgeois retired from a community action agency after 50 years. Her experience includes Director of Field Operations from 1998 to 2018 and became Director of Services until her retirement in June 2025. Irma has been a Notary Public since 2018 and Tax Preparer with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance since 1988.
Irma has experience as a secretary, transportation coordinator, Assistant Parish Manager, and several instances, she was the Interim CEO for the agency. Her years of experience in various positions have prepared her to undertake this new challenge.
